Flynn's Emergency Vet Bill

On December 21st I took Flynn to a dog park. After being there and playing for awhile another dog came in and stepped on Flynn. Naturally he cried and the larger dog started to chase Flynn and no one could get him to stop. He pinned Flynn down and took him in his mouth and started to chew on him like a chew toy .The dogs owner could not get him off. He had to get on his back and force his mouth open in order for him to let go of Flynn. By the time he let Flynn go Flynn's guts were hanging out of his body. I picked him up and rushed him to the emergency vet. A sweet lady tried to get the dog owners information. Unfortunately the information he gave was false. Flynn had to undergo emergency surgery and was in surgery a little over two hours. The bite went into his intestines. They flushed it with water to see if it would still function but had no luck and had to remove a little over a foot of intestines. Flynn has made it through the night but we are not in the clear yet. An infection could not show up until 4 to 5 days after and could result in death. Flynn is very important to our family and we adore him so much. It is extremely hard for me to make this page. Anyone who knows me knows how hard I work and I have so much pride probably more than I should. I could be dying and would never ask anyone for money but this year has been a roller coaster and even I have to set my pride aside and know sometimes people need help and it is okay to reach out. I have attached a picture of Flynn and the summary of the first vet bill. This is not including his transportation to the emergency overnight clinic where they had to monitor and care for him overnight. With the person giving false information and no luck in reaching him I and stuck with these bills. Anything helps and is more appreciated then I could ever express. Every single penny will go to his vet bills and medication. Thank you!!
