Flynn's road to food freedom
Donation protected
Hey everyone my name is Trey, and my wife's name is Casey. At about 6 months of age our son Flynn was diagnosed with food allergies. We have lived in general seclusion from many things in our lives because of the chance of him getting in contact with one of these and going into anaphylaxis.
His known allergens are Milk, Peanuts. Tree nuts, Eggs, Soy, and a few others. All of these could potentially send him into anaphylaxis.
Last year we found a place in California called Southern California Food Allergy Institute. They specialize in a tolerance induction program that would eventually lead Flynn to no longer be allergic to any of these foods.
After about a 6 month wait on a wait list we finally got in, and have had two successful appointments. These treatments will take approximately 4 years, with travel for appointments every 3 months. The program coupled with hotel costs, a rental car, and airfare is very financially taxing.
Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated as we try to change our son's life forever.
Thank you
