Fly Ronnie to Rwanda

Donation protected
Ronnie is a pig living a very happy life on an Irish pig farm but he hopes the Irish public will help him to fly 260 of his friends to rural Rwanda to change the lives of 130 families.

In September 2016, VIVA (Volunteers in Irish Veterinary Assistance) will airlift 260 pigs to Rwanda to a group of new pig farmers in western Rwanda. These pigs will help lift these farming families out of poverty.

VIVA need to raise €25,000 to fly these pigs to Rwanda and provide training and support to these new farmers

These 130 families in the districts of Rusizi and Nyamasheke will get 2 piglets each. Most of these subsistence farmers live on less than $1 a day. These pigs will give them a decent income and improve the standard of living and nutrition for these families

VIVA is an Irish volunteer-based NGO supporting livestock farmers in the developing world
