Help Mel Rebuild After Apartment Fire

On 8/31/2024 I woke up to my apartment roof deck blazing with fire. With a stroke of luck I woke up in the middle of the night before any fire reached my bedroom. After getting everyone out of the apartment building, the fire continued for 30 minutes completely destroying my bedroom and collapsing the ceiling into my living room. All of my positions, hard work stored on my computer, instruments, clothes, art, and memories has been destroyed in the fire. Leaving me with just the clothes I was wearing and a single bass guitar that means the world to me.

I’ve never been so grateful to be alive and to still have time with my family and friends. As I move through this process my insurance only covers a small portion of my loss. It has taken alot of courage to ask for help in this way but there is so much strength in asking. Thank you so much for contributing and sharing. It means the world to me to have such supportive family and friends.
