Moving Costs

Hi, it’s Marg here as many of you know, I’ve been having a month! I fell down a couple of stairs on May 31 breaking a finger on my dominant hand and a small bone in my foot plus a a severe sprain of that ankle. Needless to say, that has made packing for our upcoming move a challenge, but we’re almost there!

Unfortunately, finding a new place to live has been extremely difficult. The market is flooded with renters due to the difficult financial situation many people have found themselves in. People have had to give up their houses and go back to renting, or have had to postpone their plans to purchase a house because of skyrocketing costs.

This has put us in the position of having to go to the top end of our budget to find a new home, so I’m left scrambling to find the money for our moving costs as I’ve had to dip into that to top up our first and last months rent deposit at the higher level.

It feels a little strange to be doing this, as I don’t ask for help easily, but many of you asked if there was anything you could do to help, and this is the help I need at the moment.

If you’re not in a position to help financially, I completely understand, and I will also take all the good wishes, prayers, and positive energy you can spare!
