Fmr USMC trying to support family

My name is Tom Simpson and I am part of Charlotte's Chive group. We are a random acts of kindness group that try to help people in need through fundraising. We don't usually use a go fund me, however this is a special case. There is a former Marine and his family that live in Wilmington, NC. He is in limbo with the VA with injuries suffered overseas. He has 3 children under the age of 6, and his eldest has special needs. Both of his cars have been repossessed and he and his family have been eating 5 year old MRE's. Since I am away from my family this Christmas season, I have made it my duty to make sure that this is one Christmas that this family will never forget. I am asking that you give anything that you can to make this family stay strong and understand the meaning of extended family. I will personally make sure that this money is put into his hand and that they are taken care of. Thank you in advance for your generosity and Merry Christmas!
