Honda Fit Global Time Attack Build

2007 Honda Fit Sport

I am a dedicated Honda Enthusiast.  I have owned and built many Honda's over the years, Accord, Civic, Fit, etc.  I am a professional high performance driving instructor, I instruct with a teen defensive driving school, and I am a high performance motorsports technician.  I work multiple jobs to pay the bills and support my hobby.

I currently am a co-owner and driver of a 1996 Honda Civic Coupe endurance race car, I also own and track regularly a 2012 Honda Fit Sport....I won Enthusiast FWD at Global Time Attack at Road Atlanta in 2015, setting a new class record as well.  I also won the FWD Enthusiast Championship in the 2015 iTrack Motorsports Track Challenge series with this Fit.

My GoFundMe is for my 2007 Honda Fit Sport.  I have owned this car for years.  It was the first k20 swapped Fit in the USA.  I have tracked it at many tracks, competed in NASA Time Trials, take it to various meets, and drive it often.  I use both of my Fits to try to help the growth of the Fit for the import scene.  These cars are often overlooked, but very versatile....makes for a great track car, for hauling all sorts of loads, and just everyday use,

I have done many one off mods to this Fit and am working towards building it to be one of the fastest Honda Fit track cars in the country.  I am currently registered for Street FWD at Global Time Attack Pro Championship at Road Atlanta.  I also plan to compete in multiple iTrack Motorsports Track Challenge and NASA Time Trials events this year.  I hope to compete in the full Global Time Attack Pro Championship including NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans as well as the finals at Buttonwillow Raceway in Buttonwillow, CA.  Travel expenses, tires, entry fees, etc.  Also finishing needed modifications to make it more competitive in the class.

I currently have the following companies helping to contribute to the build with partial sponsorships:

AMR Engineering
Group-A Engineering
Skunk2 Racing
Grams Performance
Kraftwerks
Nsidious Industries

I dont want to cut corners with this build and I hope to make a good showing at each event to show that you dont need a typical sports car to enjoy the track, or be highly competitive.  I use my basically stock 2012 Fit to show that any car can support your need for the track and learn to be better driver in a controlled enviroment.

I am very thankful for all the help I receive, big or small.  All contributors will be listed on the car, whether it be a business or personal donation.  Help me acheive my goal.
