Breast cancer journey

Hi my name is Ashley and I am a 38 year old single mom of a 9 yr old daughter who I love with everything. She's my world. It's us against the world. I recently just got diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer stage 1. I have already had one surgery which I have missed 2 weeks of work. I thought everything would be okay again after surgery but no come 2023 come more surgery and treatment and adventures await my future.  I have to yet again get another surgery recovery of the nipple and areola due to more cancer underneath and radiation treatments along with starting hormone cancer blocker pills tamoxifen. I'm a basket case, a nervous wreck but I can't show my daughter. I'm trying to keep up with everything in my life being a full time working mom.  I do not have any more time off so this means taking off for Dr appts follow ups surgery and radiation treatments. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook on everything cause things could be way worse. I have help basically I came on this page to tell my story and journey to others just in my situation. It's always nice to talk to others about your journey and the same situation.
