Medical, Funeral and Memorial for Emily Mancia
Donation protected
Hi Everyone, this fundraiser is for Emily and her family to help them with funeral and medical expenses. Money and financial strain should be the last thing anyone has to worry about during this hard time and your help will be greatly appreciated.
Emily had a sudden cardiac arrest early hours of Tuesday 2/7. She's fought hard for a week. Unfortunately, she suffered an irreversible brain injury and has passed. She is now with our Heavenly Father.
Today as her parents plan the one thing we all as parents hope we never have to plan, is the funeral of one of our children. Emily's passing was a surprise for everyone who knew her because she always has been healthy and with her passing comes unexpected funeral and medical expenses. This tragic death was sudden and unexpected for everyone, so her parents are going to need the love, support and generosity of the community to help pay for funeral costs. We are asking you to please donate whatever you can afford so that this family can bury their child and attempt to heal without the added weight of burial costs on their shoulders. We are asking, if you or anyone you know donate once a month, a week, or a quarter, please think of Emily's family. Any amount will help the family and remember, if we all do a small contribution, they make a difference put together.
This week, we have had the pleasure to meet Emily's friends, co-workers, and meet with the family. Everyone has been telling stories about Emily being a great friend, support, and confidant, giving great advice, and most importantly the willingness to help others. Emily was a person who was honest with her friends and shared what she was thinking. This quality was greatly appreciated by others and today, as we remember how honest she was with all of us, it brings laughter during this hard time. Emily enjoyed helping others, this led to work for the city of Philadelphia helping kids and families through education programs. One of the values Emily shared with others, was education and the importance of college. This is why she always wanted her brothers to also attend and graduate from UC Berkley like she did "Go Bears!"- Emily. Emily's love, care, support, and protection for her siblings were something she shared with all know knew her. Emily left all of us with great memories that we will cherish forever.
If you are unable to help monetarily, please share and say a prayer for Emily and her family. Thank you in advance.
