Amelia's Holiday Fund!
Donation protected
Appeal to raise funds to finance our daughter's holiday wishes to return to Germany and Holland, to celebrate the end of her Osteoblastic Osteosarcoma cancer treatment and surgeries.
A bit of background - Amelia has already started her cancer treatment journey. Most recently she has had two operations to remove the cancerous bones in her leg. We have approximately 18 weeks of chemotherapy treatment to go. She has continued to be an absolute star throughout; with a wicked sense of humour and endless optimism.
Why Germany and Holland specifically? - We went on a once in lifetime holiday there three years ago. On our itinerary was a trip to Eftling. She was too small to go on one of Eftling's most daring roller-coasters and was mortified when she found out she was too small to go on the ride - this girl has a crazy thrill for adrenaline!
(Poor Meli (aged 7) having a melt down because she couldn't go on the most scariest of roller-coasters!)
(This massive roller-coaster! Too big to fit in this message!)
She had wanted to return when she was 'big enough'. Three years later, I'm sure she will be tall enough! Perhaps we may also be able to treat her to all her food desires too - she hopes to eat pancakes, sushi, hotdogs, cinnamon doughnuts, hot chocolate...the Works when she feels well enough too! Certainly beats hospital food!
Many thanks for taking the time to read this, and whilst not expected; the family are eternally grateful for any donations received, however small.
Much love from Amelia's family...and pets of course!
