Bella’s Emergency Vet Bill

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I am a dog mom to two of the best cattle dogs, Bella & Blue. Bella recently fell very ill and has been hospitalized at AERC and is in ICU care. She is in critical condition and the docs are doing all they can to keep her comfortable and then work to figure out what the cause of all this is. We were given a starting estimate for her stay for over $4000. That is not including what our next steps will be once they have a diagnosis and know a prognosis and if surgery is needed which will be additional bills. We recently had to replace our boiler for our home so we do not have much funds in savings at the moment to help with the costs. My husband Dwight and I are fortunate to have two full time jobs, but given the slow industry I am not making what I normally would. I do also have a side gig working through the Rover app as I absolutely love working with dogs and cats. We are asking for any monetary help that can be spared to go towards Bella’s pending medical bills. Anyone who has met her knows she is a spicy girl and a fighter. We are hoping for good news to come and will keep everyone posted on her status as we learn more. ❤️

Update 1/18: the emergency vet gave us a devastating call this morning to let us know she is not responding well to treatment and not seeing improvement. Her prognosis is not good. We have decided to go with humane euthanasia to end her suffering and let her be at peace.

Update #2 You all have been so amazing and Bella was so lucky to be loved by so many wonderful people. The vet office is finalizing the bill for us and any funds we receive over the actual amount needed will be donated to Coco’s Heart rescue in her honor ❤️❤️❤️❤️
