Folkestone Owl Rescue

Donation protected
We are a rescue sanctuary for most species of owls, we have 44 owls in our enclosures and is all run from the home owner's garden. The sanctuary has existed for 32 years and since the corona-virus epidemic started we have struggled to make profit from the public as that is our only means of income.

We are not a registered charity despite attempts to gain such a status, all attempts of becoming a registered charity have all but failed. The RSPB and RSPCA have taken a blind eye to Brian as he's been an independent rescue sanctuary for so long and have stated their disinterest in supporting as well as directly funding us.

Our own means of income as stated above is purely through change and notes given into charity boxes and our goal in terms of income we aim for is £200 a week due to deep expenses due to vet bills, food bills and maintenance of the enclosures. Also given is the expenses given towards maintaining the vehicle we have which is essential in transporting the owls to Folkestone's town centre which is where we try our best to exhibit our sanctuary and to continue what is stated above.

As a sanctuary we would be eternally grateful for donations as the help we get saves lives of these birds and keeps them safe.
