Cremation for Fon “Popeye” Lucas

Hello, my name is Danielle and I’ve been blessed with being Fon’s daughter-in-law for the past 14 years. Fon was an amazing father & grandfather. His passions were golfing and fishing. Last night Fon died suddenly from a blood clot to either his brain or heart. It happened so fast that he probably didn’t even know. It was a quick and painless death which is a blessing. But as we collect the pieces of our shattered hearts we’re faced with an unfortunate situation. Fon was scammed. For the past 10 years he was lead to believe he was paying for “life insurance” but in reality it was “accidental death & dismemberment insurance”. Now he’s currently awaiting for cremation and has been placed in a freezer until we collect funds for his cremation. We’re already a low income family so this has really hurt. We’re asking for help so we can remove him from the freezer and give him is final farewell. The price I asked for is the cost of the cremation but any extra money I can use towards his memorial celebration. Fon was an amazing man and I would like to make sure he is given the respect he deserves!
