“I’m Alison, i started running in 2024 and absolutely fell in love with it.

after a difficult few years I can’t explain how much my staffy (Troy) helped get me back on my feet,i found a whole new appreciation for dogs-We dont deserve them and the unconditional love they bring.I started volunteering with fonds because every dog deserves a chance.

Therefore I’m running the Newport Marathon on 13 April to raise money for the dogs at Newport City Dogs Home. Through Friends of Newport Dogs,
