FONI KANSALA UK RAMADAN 2024 SUGAR APPEAL

The holy month of Ramadan is fast approaching and FONI KANSALA-UK ASSOCIATION is again calling on people to join them in making a difference. The Association was created to empower communities both in the UK and The Gambia with the view to alleviating poverty, empowering youths and supporting health and educational needs in communities.

As part of its community outreach programmes, each year the Association organise fund raising appeals to support deprived communities during the month of Ramadan.

Last year alone, the Association in collaboration with Foni Kansala USA Association donated £2,532.00 equivalent to D182,312.00 to families in 43 villages during the month of Ramadan. You can watch the video here during the distribution of the fund:

The Association's intervention in providing essential support to communities over the years cannot be over emphasised. Due to recent conflicts around the world and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, families will continue to face more and more economic hardships.

Donating to this fundraiser will not only put food on the table but also reduces the stress on the poor and underprivileged.

As Ramadan gets closer, it's a race against time, to raise more funds to increase the number of bags of sugar donated to families.
