Donation protected
Care for Children and Elders' Life Association (CCELA) Ethiopia are:
- Non-political
- Not-for-profit
- Privately run humanitarian organisation
- Legally registered and Licensed to operate as a charity in Ethiopia
- Providing holistic support and a caring, loving home for Orphaned children
- We provide economic support for all school-aged children in our care to attend a Private School, the foundation for success and independence.
We currently provide a loving, secure family-like home for 19 orphaned children, ranging in ages between 9 months and 17 years old. There is a team of 10 staff, including a manager, nurse, social worker, nannies, cook and security staff.
Due to the current Covid-19 Global Pandemic, we are concerned for an imminent lockdown in the city of Addis Ababa meaning we are unable to access enough food and critical supplies for our service.
We are fundraising to bulk purchase dry groceries and essential supplies in order to keep the children safe and happy in case of an emergency.
Funds will be used specifically to purchase:
- Powdered milk
- Soap & washing powder
- Teff
- Shire sauce
- Spaghetti
- Rice
- Oil
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Lentils
- Flour
Our goal is to raise $1800USD to purchase these additional supplies.
Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
