Housing and Transportation Support for Brandi

UPDATE:
My sister and nephew were evicted from her late fiance’s house on Mother’s Day by his son who got a 48 hour “emergency eviction.” They were not even given the dignity of 30 days. My nephew finished out the last month of middle school living in and out of my sisters car, hotels, friends and family couches/guest rooms. Their poor diabetic kitty has lived almost exclusively in the car since then, and hasn’t had the meds and food he needs with any regularity. Brandi is working hard to secure housing and employment but is struggling by not having funds for day to day basic needs. There are a million little details and things I could say to express the nuance of their struggle, but at the core they need financial support badly. A new hurdle arose when the individual who offered to pay for a storage unit before they were evicted has just shared that they stopped paying for it suddenly and there will be late fees. Who can plan for changes like this when all is going well, much less while experiencing homelessness, intimate partner loss, and poverty?
My birthday is this week and all I want is for them to have some immediate needs met.
Hello everyone,
My dear sister lost her fiancé Mark of 6 years last month. This has left her and my nephew with nothing but deadlines to move out, no working car, no cash, nowhere to live after 3/31/24
This has happened while she is unemployed leaving her and her 14 year old son without an avenue to secure housing.
While grieving they have been packing up their lives not knowing where they will live or how they will get by until she is able to find a new job. She is essentially a widow without any of the perks of legal protection of being married.
Anything you can give will go directly to her and her son. These funds will help to cover food, housing, and transportation. Please help me ensure that they will have safe and secure housing.
Thank you so much.
Toby Linn
