Food and supplies go direct to Maui fire victims

Our hearts are heavy watching what’s happened to our beloved Maui. Many friends, and extended ohana have lost everything and are literally living in parking lots if they were lucky enough to escape the blaze in their car. It is utter chaos there and people are frozen by shock without any resources like a bathroom, kitchen or refrigerator. Thousands have been forced in to homelessness.

Thankfully, we have had so many friends reach out to us to ask what they can do to help.

Our wonderful Maui friends, and neighbors, Tai, Felix, and Saha Vandyke have jumped into action to get immediate relief to fire victims in Lahaina.

We are setting up this “gofundme” to help fund this effort. 100% every dollar will go to buying food and supplies that will be delivered directly to locals who need it most. The Vandykes will do daily deliveries of supplies with whatever funds are received the prior day - so this will IMMEDIATELY benefit the people on Maui.

Until there is some organization for a large scale relief effort our supplies will have a daily and direct impact for those in need..

Please consider a donation no matter how large or small. We will post photos of each receipt and the supplies that are delivered. Every penny will be spent to support these suffering people.

The photos posted were from the first delivery yesterday 8/11/23. Nearly $1500 of supplies sent directly to the people in need.
