Super Typhoon devistated Bohol
Donation protected
Over the weekend a Category 5 Super Typhoon went directly over the island of Bohol in the Philippines. The damage in Bohol is being described as "Great and All encompassing". Hundreds have been reported dead.
There is no electricity on the Island and roads are destroyed or blocked with debris making transporting food and water extremely difficult. Pete Valdez (Filipino pastor) and Matthew Dwinells (American missionary) are on site bringing peace, love and life sustaining resources to the local people. Donations will be sent directly to them to be disbursed as they see appropriate. These people are very dear to my heart. I've spent personal time in Bohol along with my wife Ashley. These are the most loving, generous, kind people you could ever meet.
The Funds will be sent Directly to Peter and Matthew in Bohol from me, Andrew Tvardzik in Maryland. This is not a tax write off. This is an effort to get immediate funds into the hands of 2 trusted individuals who are currently living in Bohol and are on the front lines of this natural disaster. We will be supporting more established organizations as they reveal themselves.
