Food for 1400 dogs & Cats

Desperately seeking help for our ESMA shelter. We have had an unprecedented number of cruelty cases come through our doors – approximately 30 in the past 3 days that were in so much need of help, that despite us struggling to keep our heads above water financially, we could not turn them away to die on the streets of Cairo. Our animal numbers are passing 1,400 and each animal needs to eat. Can you imagine 2 meals per day – that is 2,800 meals per day. In ONE WEEK, that is 19,600 plates of food we need to provide to keep our rescued furbabies alive. We are working hard on TNR to help reduce the street population long-term, we are working on adoptions to help reduce our numbers, but we cannot stem the surge in new cases. We need your help. We are under TREMENDOUS pressure just now to get our new shelter built before we are all forced out of our current shelter in October and we are struggling to buy basic food. We took in 3 more starved dogs today – 3 beautiful Golden Retrievers that the owner no longer wanted so just left them to die. Can somebody please, please help us? Please donate.
