Feeding Houston's hospitality and first responders

Last Tuesday we handed out free meals for over 200 laid off hospitality workers.  Since then, Houston's reaction has been incredibly supportive with many reaching out and asking how they can contribute and support.  Here's how!  Each meal consisted of Chef Beto's famous lasagna as well as side salads to feed four or more (44oz of lasagna).  For every $1000 raised, we can provide a fresh and healthy dinner for 250 people who have been some of the hardest hit financially by the Covid-19 virus.
Our goal is to feed 500 people every Tuesday from 5-7pm at The Tasting Room, Uptown Park.  We have a drive through set up out front--there is no need to leave the vehicle and all food is handled in a sanitized kitchen and delivered to the car with gloves on (and love!)

Update:  Due to so much amazing generosity and support, we are excited to expand this program to providing free meals to our first responders!  Never has their work and courage been more critical than right now and this is a small gesture for us to give back to those who give so much.  Every Thursday from 4-7 at Max's Wine Dive on Washington we will provide meals to those who are taking good care of us.
