Food For Thought - Meals for Kids

Many kids and families in our community, as well as so many other communities, depend on school meals to eat and even take food home over the weekends through church and school programs. There are parents that have small children that will have a difficult time being able to go to work because of the expense of child care. And that’s just a small part of the financial and economic issues that so many people will be facing now and in the upcoming weeks and months. As many as 372 children in our area are needing food in their homes over the weekend from our local Back Pack Program. Please help if you are able ❤️ We have a delivery arriving this coming Wednesday and have many weeks of need ahead - the backpack program gives 372 children 2 breakfast - 2 lunch - a fruit - a granola bar - a pudding cup and a fruit cup over the weekend - approximately $4.80 per day per child every weekend @ 2 days a weekend for as many weeks as .... we don’t know-no one knows. If we can get ahead of it a little bit - it will he used for this purpose even if the money we raise goes beyond the crisis. Thank you so much for your consideration!
