Food for Ukrainian refugees in Krakow

Hi, my name is Alex Rukhotskiy, I am Ukrainian immigrant from Kyiv living in the United States since 1992. I just returned from a trip to Krakow where I brought much needed supplies from the US and also shopped locally for food to donate to the Jewish Community Centre of Krakow - JCC Krakow which is currently providing shelter for 230 refugees and is running a 7 day per week donation center for all Ukranian refugees regardless of their religion, age, gender or immigration status.

 

I would like to continue helping the refugees through weekly food deliveries that I have setup with a local food delivery service equivalent to "DoorDash" in the United States. I will coordinate purchasing the food items that are in highest demand for that week and guarantee that all of the donations will be used to provide food for Ukrainian refugees while supporting the local econcomy by buying items from local grocery stores. Please note that given the local prices being roughly half of that in the US, as you can see in the picture below a $20 donation will provide food for 10 Ukrainian families of 3-4 for a day.
