Food & Medicine for Ukrainian refugees
Donation protected
Russia has initiated an attack on Ukraine – a country already in a humanitarian crisis.
Within hours of Russia's launch of its large-scale invasion of Ukraine to the north and east, a trickle of families hauled suitcases across the border at the Palanca checkpoint in Moldova, in search of safety.
They left behind almost everything they own, taking just a backpack of basic necessities and some of their kids' toys.
Those fleeing are mostly women and children, as all Ukrainian men aged 18 to 60 are being told to stay and fight. More than 150,000 people were believed to have left their homes in Ukraine and up to 4 million people may flee to other countries if the situation escalates.
Moldovan authorities are setting up centres to help people who need support. They have launched massive donation campaigns in order to gather food, medications and financial support. People from Moldova are providing thousands of FREE housing options for Ukrainian refugees. However, all this is not enough as the number of refugees is growing every hour and Moldova still remains to be one of the poorest countries in Europe.
In solidarity with the children, mothers and grandparents who came from Ukraine, we have launched this campaign in order to gather and direct funds where they are most needed, providing protection, shelter, food, health and other essentials to refugees and asylum seekers.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!
