Post-Op Recovery and Survival

Hello, my name is Aaron Kim. Due to poor choices and unfortunate circumstances, I've struggled physically, mentally and financially for the past two years. Ultimately, this led to a recent head surgery for a rare skin condition which I was diagnosed and battling for 10 years, called Dissecting Cellulitis of the Scalp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oP9Y1DYmOa4 this gives a general idea of my condition. It is benign but depending on severity (mine is pretty bad), surgery is recommended; however, it is an incurable condition.

I was an esports gaming coach by career of a decade, retiring in 2023 to stay more at-home with my disability-qualified mother and considering marriage to my then-girlfriend. With my life savings, I delved into the stock market with the aid of a great mentor, however it became clear after a time that I wasn't good at practicing what I preached. I experienced my first "blow-up" during the crash of July-August 2024 and had to delve into my family's emergency funds to go on and find a job. In this process, I ended my relationships with all the important people in my life and my condition had exacerbated, developing new clusters of cysts on my back, left and right scalp. Cysts and bald spots had covered about 30-35% of my scalp by the end of 2024.

Pains and sporadic bleeding, while commuting and at the workplace did not make it easier to work and soon I found myself at home again, without stable income. I played Poker for a brief time semi-professionally before Covid, so I returned to Poker with a $50 deposit and somehow, that more or less sustained my survival from late 2024 until now. However, due to my recent surgery, I'm in too much pain to do any strenuous thinking or moving activity, so grinding Poker is out of the option.

Though I deserve a lot of the bad outcomes in my life due to my foolishness and poor choices in the past, this condition of mine has no known origins (idiopathic) and it's had a tremendous effect on my downfall with the sleepless nights due to pain, bleeding, maintenance and general mood depression.

But I am hopeful with the surgery and recovery, that I may begin my second act. I've reached rock bottom as my 33rd birthday approaches yet I look forward to a lively summer. If you can assist with some financial aid to this poor fool in myself to get by for a few months during recovery, you have my sincere gratitude.

Funds will be used as title describes - 3 months rent, utilities, food, other basic necessities. I currently do not have the funds to make next month's rent as surgery schedules and rehab prevents me from working for income.
