Support Families, Schools, and Small Businesses Affected by
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
We are a group of international friends living in Valencia city. After volunteering in clean-up efforts and food donation centers, we realized that the best way to help would be to wait, organize ourselves, and invest the donations strategically for long-term support. Our goal is to assist specific families, schools, and small family-owned businesses who have lost their homes and livelihoods due to DANA Valencia.
What We’ve Accomplished So Far:
During our early efforts, we prioritized immediate clean-up operations. With the funds raised, we purchased three Kärcher high-pressure cleaners, which have been essential in helping families remove mud from their homes and recover any remaining belongings
We’ve also directly supported families by purchasing essential appliances, such as buying a fridge for an elderly woman in Catarroja who lost everything.
Additionally, we contributed €1,000 to a special education school in Alfafar to provide learning materials, ensuring the children can return to their studies as soon as possible.
Our Next Steps:
We are committed to continuing our support for families and small businesses, helping them rebuild their lives long-term.
With Christmas approaching, we’re also planning a special surprise for the children in these affected areas. We’ll share more about this initiative soon!
We stay connected with local residents and assess their evolving needs weekly, ensuring every donation directly impacts those who need it most.
Who We Are:
We are Guillaume and Clemence from France, Babette from the Netherlands, Ivana and Teresa from Austria, Paula from Spain, and Renee from Germany. Together, we’ve formed a team, working like a small organization to carefully decide how to best invest the funds and support those who need it most.
We are deeply thankful for every donation and have received heartwarming messages from the families and communities we've helped so far. Your contributions have made a real impact, and we’ve seen firsthand the hope and relief they bring. A big hug to each and every one of you who has supported us on this journey.
