Football Team's Journey to Build Hope

Hello, my name is Terry Sylvester, but most people know me as Scooter.

I’m a sophomore at Indiana Wesleyan University, and this spring break, some of my teammates and I are going on a mission trip to Mexico. This past season, we raised money to support people in countries where basic necessities aren’t as accessible as they are for us. Our goal was to raise enough funds to help build houses and shelters in Mexico and Uganda.

After the season, we were thrilled to learn that we had raised enough to build an entire house in Mexico! Now, our coaches and a few of us players have the opportunity to travel there, help with the construction, and share the Gospel. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of something this meaningful.
