Joey Zanoni Memorial Hike & Fundraiser
Tax deductible
Joey Zanoni was born in Knoxville to his parents, Bill & Christie Zanoni. He was a sophomore at Oak Ridge High School and was in the marching band. Joey's love for music began at the age of 3 with playing the piano, and shortly after he picked up a guitar and fell in love. His second love was the Boy Scouts of America where he was in the process of becoming an Eagle Scout. He loved being outside and hoped to travel the world to see Italy, Greece and Japan. On January 3, 2021 we unexpectedly lost Joey at the young age of 15 years old. He touched so many lives that it is hard to grasp the impact that he will continue to have on people.
Our Personal Trainer, Beckey Soave and member, Leinna Slone will be completing a 77 mile through-hike on the Foothills Parkway Trail in memory of Joey Zanoni. We want to use this opportunity to raise money for Alliance of Hope in Joey’s name. This fundraiser is to bring awareness to suicide and to help families during the bereavement process. Suicide is becoming more common and tragically taking the people we love and care for the most. Any donations made in Joey's name would be greatly appreciated by the Zanoni family.
