When covid restrictions first came into place in Victoria a lot of food outreach organisations had to scale back their services to "ensure the safety of the greater community". On top of this a huge number of people have found themselves in financial difficulty unexpectedly, or for the first time and will have to do one of the hardest things we as humans can do - ask for help.
During this time the community kitchen I used to cook at had to close their doors cause we couldn't operate to density limits so I thought what's the next best thing? turn my sharehouse kitchen into the new community kitchen.
Since then we've served up well over 2500 meals to the inner-west and inner-north Naarm community and we want to keep going! but we need your support, $2-3 buys a healthy delicious meal for us to hand out. Give whatever you're comfortable with to support <3
