- Hi everyone my name is Crystal Abbott and I am the aunt of 7 year old Abbey Gail Young. Abbey is the daughter of Eugene Young and Kayla & she’s also the the granddaughter of Elizabeth young and Robert Gibson “yogi” Abbey was involved in a very bad accident with a lawnmower, it cut off half of her foot… She was taken to Somerset Hospital & than air lifted to University of Kentucky, Children’s Hospital on Sunday afternoon. She underwent surgery last night just to remove the rest of her foot, her leg may have to come off to just below the knee… The team of doctors & specialists are saying that she will have to undergo several more surgeries. We the family are asking for all the prayers that we can get. The parents of Abbey needs our help with travel expenses & medical expenses… let’s pull this village together & help and help them, I talked to the father earlier and he only had 40.00 to his name and he hasn’t even ate yet. Her dad does work but he’s like the rest of us he lives paycheck to paycheck. Also if anyone wants to send up a teddy bear, baby doll or a plushie pillow or anything it would also mean a great deal to Abbey. Thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
