For a specialized seizure service dog

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Craig. I am fundraising on behalf of my wonderful wife, Stacie Hardy. She is a 100% service connected disabled Navy veteran. She has spent most of her life giving to others even when she had little to give. A little over 2 years ago is when her current medical troubles started. She was about a week post spending a week at Camp Southern Ground where she was starting to finally work on her military trauma when she suffered a stroke. Since that time she has right sided weakness, short term memory loss, and many other stroke related side effects. The worst, however, was just beginning. About a month later, she had what was thought to be TIAs associated with the stroke. They were 1-2 a month at first, but started to become more frequent and worse. In April of 2022 she finally was told that her problem was a stroke induced seizure disorder. She has recently been having 2-3 violent seizures a week and is deteriorating quickly. Also around April, Stacie lost her dear Abbie. Abbie was a 10 year old Golden Retriever who was the most wonderful emotional support animal and provided Stacie an increased ability to not get so stressed out, which is the trigger of her seizures. I am hoping that through your help, I can get Stacie a service dog trained to help her remain calmer and sense when the seizures are about to happen. Thank you so much for anything you can give...even if it's just to send this to others so we can get her the help she needs.
