For Abdullahi Hashi family

Donation protected
August 14, 2020 marks a tragic day to our family, friends and Muslim community due to the lost of our beloved brother Abdullahi Hashi. On Friday, after praying Maghreb, brother Abdullahi Hashi left Masjid Al-Salam to cross Murfreesboro Pike in Nashville, TN and minutes later found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his head. Abdullahi Hashi was taking to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. People who knew Abdullahi would describe him as loyal and trustworthy who is known for positive personality traits.

Abdullahi left behind his wife and six children who are currently in an emotional pain due to the unexpected incident. As we all are aware of the hadith, prophet Mohammed (may peace be upon him) said “Whosoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Judgment.” Hashi’s family currently rent an apartment who had always depended on Abdullahi to provide. As Masjid Al-Salam’s leaders, we are asking the Muslim and non-Muslim community to help raise money to ensure Hashi’s family stand up on their feet again. We commit to give all the money raised to Hashi’s family. May Allah reward those who help remove the family’s grief.
