For Alexa Valiente from her ABC News family
ABC News producer Alexa Valiente passed away April 5 after facing health issues for several months.
Fierce, funny and adventurous, Alexa, 27, was a force who could light up a room with her smile, her laughter or even her own DJ music mix.
Alexa had been with ABC News for six years, after starting as an intern.
As a producer for the Digital Show Integration team, she spent a lot of her time focused on "Nightline," "20/20" and "Popcorn with Peter Travers."
Alexa graduated from Seton Hall, with a degree in Diplomacy and International Relations, and spent her free time trying to reach (and photograph) every corner of the globe.
Always a friendly face in the halls, she had an upbeat spirit, a curious and brilliant mind and a real passion to see the world -- plus a serious flair for fashion. She will be deeply missed by all.
All monies donated will go to Alexa's family to help cover medical bills, funeral costs and anything else the Valientes may need.
Thank you.
