Without having my own words, Amanda said it best…

”It is with a shattered and broken heart that I announce the passing of my sweet husband Sebastien Plourde. He had a skydiving accident on March 8, 2024 (in Dubai), while working.

He was the kindest, sweetest person I had ever met. Not a mean bone in his body. To say I will miss him is beyond an understatement.”

This morning, I woke up to Amanda’s message: “SEB had an accident. I don’t know how bad. I am on my way to the hospital.” 45 minutes later: “Seb has passed away.”

I am shaking, and wordless trying to write this for my friend. Zofia, their 2.5 year old daughter, just lost her Daddy. My heart is broken for them, and my first instinct is… what can we do?

It takes a village to raise a family, Amanda just lost hers. We are her village. Her film fam, their sky fam. We are their family. They need us, and this is a start to help.

I don’t know what accommodations Skydive Dubai may be working on for Amanda and Z, I don’t have any details, what I’ve read online is what you know, is what I know.

In the meantime, let’s show how much we love them, and share what we can.
