For Baby Merrick

Hello, my name is Bridget. I’m starting a fundraiser for my brother and sister in law. My sweet nephew Merrick, 2 years old, drowned Wednesday, June 8th in their community hot tub. This is a huge tragedy for our whole family. We went to have a fun, normal, summer day at the pool and it ended in a very traumatic event for me, his mom, cousins, and sweet brother, Liam. This was a horrible accident. We weren’t even there for an hour when this happened. Drowning is the #1 cause of death in ages 1-4. We never thought we would be victim of this kind of tragedy, but this has now become our reality. We are all completely devastated. Any outside help and support is greatly appreciated in this time of need.

We are grateful for the generosity of others, in Merrick’s memory. Funds will be contributed to provide aquatic safety awareness education, in Merrick’s name. Thisincludes Venmo transactions that have already been sent, and any others that may be sent in.
