A few words from Michael

My name is Michael and my wife is Adrianna. We have a 3 and a half old daughter at home already and my wife just had a 17 hour labor for our beautiful baby boy, River James. He was born on 2-22-22 and is the perfect baby. We were informed by doctors on 2-23-22 , the day after his birth, that he has a heart defect that needed attention immediately. He got transferred to a hospital that had a cardio doctor that could help us with what was going on. It’s 2-24-22 now when I’m making this and we just found out that he has severe aortic stenosis. It’s a condition where his heart has a valve that isn’t functioning properly because it’s closed mostly and not able to create blood flow to the rest of his body (brain, lungs, stomach etc;) he is having a heart cath done today and the doctor said before he turns 6 months old he will require open heart surgery to permanently fix the valve, barring any more complications. This is all happening so quickly and we’ve slept maybe 6 hours in the last 3 days combined. We are all so emotional with this and I don’t want to be anywhere else besides with my son or my wife. Please pray for us if you can’t donate. Every prayer helps. God will help us and and him. We believe it!
