For CJ In Memory of Chris Venable
Donation protected
December 6, 2020
Dear Friends,
First, we cannot thank you enough for the outpouring of kindness and support that you channeled to CJ and Shirley in the days following Chris’s death. We are forever moved by your kindness; we are profoundly grateful for your generosity. We know that it was all inspired by Chris and the beautiful person that he was and the love and laughter that he created that will remain with us forever.
It was our hope to establish a fund to provide for the education and upbringing of CJ. Unfortunately, in the wake of a tragedy compounded by a pandemic, we were unable to make the arrangements necessary to procure the funds that you so willingly contributed to CJ’s Go Fund Me. We have rectified this situation with the establishment of an account for CJ.
Now, we appeal to your love and kindness for Chris and his family. We would greatly appreciate it if you would take a moment to donate in the amount that was refunded to you.
We hope that this note finds you well and with Chris alive in your memory. As time moves on, may his memory bring you happiness and warmth. And may your continued generosity bring you peace and fulfillment during these dark times.
I know we will cherish our memories of the laughter we shared with Chris, and we will hold fast to the knowledge that we were able to secure a better future for those that Chris loved most in this world.
Thank you again for your kindness, your magnanimity, and your outpouring of love. You are what this family and what this world needs. May you and yours hold on to each other in great love and good health this holiday season.
In gratitude,
Team Venerable
We have lost our brother and our friend, a husband, father, son and one of the funniest, happiest people on this earth. On July 23rd, exactly thirty days after the passing of his father, Chris Venable tragically passed from this world too young and too soon. Chris could transform your darkest day through his smile, his positivity, and his outrageous sense of humor. (Continued below.)

Chris’s mother Ruby writes:
Loving, kind, giving, smart, funny are just some of the qualities Chris possessed. I loved to see that well-known expression on his face while he thought of a way to solve a problem for someone by telling a story to make you laugh or lending a hand both physically and mentally. His dad and I always knew we had one of a kind.
Now, we need to lend a hand to Chris’s family. In honor of Chris and the way he enriched our lives by making us laugh and giving of his kind, positive, playful spirit, we embrace his family in their grief and seek to support them. This beloved soul was the sole support of his wife Shirley, his son CJ, and his mother Ruby. Most notably, Chris leaves behind Christopher James, just four years old.
We need your help. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated and all donations will go directly to the care and future education of CJ. Please post, share, spread the word and help us take care of Chris’s beautiful boy.
Chris, we will miss you forever and smile when we think of you, always.
