For Daniel Caycho's Family

We have set up this Gofundme to honor Daniel and to support Melinda Caycho and their children Antonio (9), Ciela (7), and Francesca (5).

 

Daniel (40), Melinda's husband, passed away on December 21, 2021 from two different forms of extremely aggressive colon cancer after a year-long battle of hospitalizations, chemotherapy, surgeries, and gene therapy. Melinda was Daniel's fiercest ally during this difficult time, and she worked hard to keep up his physical and emotional health. She put education and career pursuits on hold to care for her family. They both faced the illness with strength, faith, and grace.

 

Many people are wanting to help Melinda and the children financially, emotionally and spiritually. We have set up this fundraiser to provide financial support to the family, since Daniel was the main wage earner.

 

It was one of Daniel's greatest wishes that Melinda resume her coursework and obtain a Masters in Speech Language Pathology to give her the opportunity to support herself and the children.
