For Dear Baby Remy: Forever Loved and Mourned
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that our little one, Remy Dilling, is no longer with us.
Jeremy “Remy” Lance Dilling Jr. was the infant son of Nadia Sutton, and her fiancé, Jeremy Dilling Sr.
Remy was found unresponsive yesterday morning, May 4, by Jeremy’s mother, with whom he had been spending the night. It is believed that SIDS was the likely cause of the baby’s death.
Remy was born January 25, 2019, in New Orleans. At three months, our beautiful little guy was an easy baby, quick to smile, with a delightful, irrepressible laugh. His eyes lit up at the sight of his parents and his dog.
Services for Remy will be held 12 p.m., May 10, at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., Metairie, LA 70124. Following family viewing at 10, public viewing will be at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 at Holt Cemetery, 4901 Rosedale Dr., New Orleans. Flowers may be sent to Lake Lawn.
No one can possibly be prepared for the death of an infant and, understandably, the young couple are devastated. They also face the daunting costs associated with his final expenses. After being advised of costs by a friend who works in the funeral industry, we’ve started a Go Fund Me page for them. If you are in a position to contribute, your help will be greatly appreciated. Payment is due to the funeral home this Thursday.
Losing a child is the most cruel, most sad of events.
