Dear Friends,
We come to you today with heavy hearts but also with deep hope and unwavering love and respect for our dear friend and colleague, Gina MacCarthy. As many of you know, Gina has been facing the incredibly difficult challenge of battling cancer, and through it all, she has shown extraordinary strength, courage, and grace.
In times like these, it’s hard to find the right words, but one thing is certain: Gina is a hero. She is not just a fighter, but a mother, a wife, a friend, and a colleague who has touched so many of our lives. Her compassion, her kindness, and her infectious positivity have always been a source of light, and now it’s our turn to be that light for her and her beautiful family.
Gina and her husband, Adam, are facing an unimaginable journey, and as they focus on supporting each other, we want to support them. That’s why we’re starting an education savings account for their son, George. We hope that this fundraising campaign can perhaps alleviate some worry and contribute to a brighter future for George and the family. Let’s show them that they are not alone in this fight, that their friends and community are here with them every step of the way. Every little bit helps!
Gina, you are our hero. We see your strength, your bravery, and your love for your family, and we are all rooting for you. Please know that you have a whole team of people who are here for you, who love you, and who will stand by you and your family through this journey.
With love and gratitude,
Your friends and colleagues at Ford
