Chris Peglar had a zest for life. Her optimism and faith were cornerstones of her existence. The absolute light of her life was her son, Harrison. Chris waged a valiant battle against metastatic breast cancer for 9 years. Every single day, her goal was to be present for Harrison, and it fueled her and empowered her to continue to fight until the very last day. Waging war against cancer for 9 years left Chris in a precarious financial position. Harrison's life was forever changed on October 1, 2019, when Chris' long battle came to an end. The purpose of this fund is to provide some support for Harrison as he continues his education. He is currently a sophomore cadet at VMI in Lexington, Virginia. Please consider a donation to help him achieve his educational goals. We can't replace Chris, but we can lighten his financial burden.
