This past Tuesday my sister went in for outpatient surgery to have her gallbladder removed and her surgery didn't exactly go as planned. Dr. Morales told our mommy devastating news.....Elizabeth has cancer in her appendix. Unknown to them or us which stage, type and if it has spread. She is currently waiting for transfer from DePaul to SLU now and it will be a very challenging time for her and her 3 children. Izzy will need all the support one can possibly give, even if it's just a prayer. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will keep everyone posted.
