Our beloved Jamal was a father, a son, a brother and a friend. His light shone bright and far, and touched the hearts of many who were blessed with knowing him. To know Jamal was to know laughter. To know Jamal was to know loyalty. To know Jamal was to know kindness. He loved and cherished his beautiful daughter, and was a beacon of light to friends and family. Alas his light dimmed far too soon, leaving behind a fatherless daughter, and a gaping hole in our lives. We are bereft in his absence and our pain is hard to quell (ease). His daughter, mother, brother and loved ones are tasked with Jamal's end of life celebration, and are in need of support while they manage this emotional toll and financial burden. I write this in support of his family who would be ever so grateful for any support to offset the cost of his homegoing ceremony. To humbly honor Jamal’s life the services will cost between $5,000 - $6,000. All funds received would go to cover the cost of the services and any extra proceeds would go to his 6 year old daughter Jamie, who will hold her Daddy’s hand no more.
