For Jerrica and Zander - Support our Zephier Family

I'm writing on behalf of our Zephier family on the Yankton Sioux Reservation as we lost two of our young family members within 24 hours during Thanksgiving.

On the morning before Thanksgiving, 11/27, my younger brother Zander William Zephier was horrifically killed by police at my grandmother's home in front of family.

Zander was 23 years of age. He was a gentle, caring soul that could always be found looking out for his family, sister, nieces, and friends. He had a deep passion for music and writing, often dedicating his art to those he loved. We'll remember him for his smile, laugh, and kindness to others. He is missed greatly by all of his family and friends.

On the morning of Thanksgiving, 11/28, we lost my dear cousin Jerrica Rose Zephier in a tragic car accident.

Jerrica was 29 years of age. She spent her time taking loving care of her mother and her only child, who is 6 years old. Jerrica could always be found caring for her loved ones, and when she wasn't there, she was caring for anyone else in need. She was loved by everyone she met. Her family will miss her dearly.

Our Zephier family has suffered greatly from their losses. We kindly ask for your support during this difficult time for our family as we prepare to lay our young loved ones, Jerrica and Zander, to rest.
