For Jessica - Cancer Sucks, People Don't
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, acquaintances, and anyone whose path this may cross...
Jessica has been diagnosed with Stage 4, Cervical Cancer, which metastasized into the uterus, lungs and more. - she is 34 years old. 34. She is our very beloved niece, daughter, sister, cousin, granddaughter, co-worker and friend and she is precious. Jessica has always been so full of life!! She is a generous, outgoing, beautiful human being. She is just a bright and shiny light on this planet... But something started dimming that light a few months ago.
She has been seeing Doctors for what was believed to be routine gyno visits - her hope and deep passion was to resolve ongoing issues and to have a baby someday. She'd developed heavy bleeding and coughing symptoms and was misdiagnosed - she'd been treated for GERD/Acid Reflux and endometriosis. She went into the ER as her symptoms worsened and the result was an Xray and CT scan that gave us this completely shocking, terrifying, and devastating news. As many of you know, we have a very close family. Every single one of us has a special bond with Jessi and the pain is too much to explain.
Jessica is an independent, self-supporting young woman with so much life in her and is now facing an uphill battle that requires alot of support! The financial burden will be another devastation. Paying rent and the basics will be tough with the medical needs she will experience. And we are all in it together to carry Jess through. Deedee, our sister and Jessi's mom, has picked up her life from California, leaving her husband and home, to be with Jessica in Arizona, to care for her. We need Jessica to power thru this time with the best care possible and the rest she needs so she can fight this battle without a financial burden and stress.
We are asking for your help so Jessica can continue to pay living expenses while undergoing treatment. Any one-time or ongoing donation you feel led to give, we appreciate so much. Amid tragedy, there is always hope. We will trust in Christ to walk her and us through this journey.
Please pray with us unceasingly!
