Remembering Joseph Snode

Joseph was tragically killed in a road accident on 28th January 2024 whilst living his dream traveling and doing Photography in New Zealand. He leaves behind his loving parents, his Sister whom he was very close to and many many friends who will forever miss him.

Joseph was full of love and life, he made friends where ever he went and had already visited many countries on his travels. He had friends for life and those that knew him talk of his caring, loyal and loving ways. He has helped and supported many people in his short life. He worked hard and enjoyed working at Glastonbury, Reading and many other Festivals, again making life long friendships.

He loved his family and kept in touch whilst traveling, sending home photos and videos of his journeys. He wanted to go into wildlife Photography combined with his travels. Sadly, a lot of his footage will now be unseen and stories of his adventures untold.

Joseph's death has destroyed his family and the days are now bleak and meaningless. He was a one in a Billion and had so much to live for and things planned in the future. He was killed in a single car crash, the driver a learner driver who had been driving for six hours prior to picking Joseph up has pleaded guilty but has applied for 'Discharge without Conviction' meaning she could walk away without anything on her record or punishment when she appears in Court. This has caused unbearable extra pain and disbelief to the family. How can she plead guilty but think she should not have any punishment? Her carelessness ended a wonderful life. Her and the other two passengers have walked away, Joseph's life was ended instantly, how is that ok? She has a life ahead of her, she took that opportunity from Joseph and his family.
