For Lisa Fehr's Father

On behalf of Ms Fehr’s 5/6th class of the Olinda Elementary School community, we are setting up a fund for Ms. Fehr.  As some of you may know, Ms Fehr lost her father recently to COVID-19.  Some of us can relate to how hard it is not being able to see our family right now, let alone losing a loved one suddenly to this devastating virus.  Her family is in Maine and she will need to travel to Maine when it’s permissible, to attend her father’s funeral.  She is doing everything possible, from afar, to support her mom during this difficult time.  

The Olinda community would like to express support for her and her family by setting up this fund that she can use to offset her travel expenses when she goes home or for a cause that her father held dear to his heart and in which he was an active volunteer.

She does not know that we are doing this but we want to support her as a community during this hard time.  Due to SIP, we, the class and parents have not been able to comfort her in person and in place of flowers, we thought monetary donation would be more useful and appropriate.  No dollar amount is too small.
