For Makoto Tanaka

Dear friends,

I am deeply saddened to write these words, but we lost our friend Makoto Tanaka on June 23, 2020. 

As his colleague in Rakuten USA and his old friend, I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses and to support his family.  As you may know, he has three children and his wife. His family was not prepared for the high cost of a funeral, and during this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help. Any excess money will support his family.

Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help. We need to raise as much as we can in order to cover the cost of Makoto’s funeral service. All the money directly goes to his family.

It would mean a lot if you could share Makoto’s funeral fundraiser with others who knew him.

We’ve reached the initial goal, but to help his family manage through this very uncertain time over next few months and to support long term cost for education for his children, we’ll continue this fundraising.

田中真さんが2020年6月23日急逝しました。享年49歳でした。

Rakuten USA (楽天子会社)の同僚そして長年の付き合いの友人として、田中家を支えるための募金をはじめました。田中真さんは三人の子供と奥様を残して旅立ってしまいました。集まったお金はすべて田中家が直接受け取り、葬儀と家族の今後をサポートするために使われます。
