For Matia

Hi my name is Sally and on behalf of Terry, Darren and Tony we are raising funds for a very special family.
Can you keep the torch burning for this loving family as they navigate their way through the darkness?
Prior to his condition getting worse, Matia was a young man in good health who loved to play soccer and was about to begin his career as an electrical apprentice.
Matia's illness was a devastating blow to his loving and devoted parents Vesna and Joe, as well as his older sister Ariana; they had not predicted this for 17 year old Matia, a well loved and appreciated gentleman who is a fun loving, charismatic, and a respected man in the community.
Matia was diagnosed with a brain tumour three years ago. After the initial surgery, he was beginning to feel better, but the tumour has now grown back more aggressively. At the moment, he is a patient in the Royal Children's Hospital. The only words he can utter at this time are Yes or No and he has lost movement to the right side of his body. As there is no cure for this terminal illness, the hospital is now taking care of his headaches and other ailments.
The family appreciates all of your prayers, and Matia is still smiling and enjoying a bit of time with his friends and family. Matia was recently presented with the Championship Flag won the first year he played at the Spring Hills Soccer Club, signed by his teammates and organised by his soccer coach, team manager, and parent organiser of Matia’s Go- Fund -Me page.
Friends have come together to create a Go-Fund-Me page for Matia’s family, as his father Joe stopped working a few months ago to be a full-time carer for his son. The sad reality is that in order for him to keep his job, he must return to work by the end of next week.
