For medical care, funeral preparation and expenses

Dear friends,

**** update: Brianna has been declared deceased at 2:31. We are now preparing for the next stages of her life. Includes organ donation, memorial services, and all that comes with it. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far we appreciate you all

Our daughter Brianna was out on Saturday evening, December 2nd walking with her friends when she was struck by a car and left for dead. The driver has still not been found as Brianna fights for her life in the ICU of Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Brianna is a bright, funny, caring child beloved by everyone who knew her. Brianna has been in a coma since arriving at MVH and is currently on life support undergoing brain testing. Brianna has shown slight signs of being able to breathe on her own during the first round of testing and had sudden “movement” during the second round of testing.

This gives us hope that she is in there fighting…

Over the last week we have been inundated with stories of Brianna from friends and loved ones who knew our sweet girl. She was so loved and cared for. She brought smiles to everyone she knew, and is her father’s entire heart.

We are asking for help as we are hit with the insurmountable medical bills related to multiple days in ICU and the unthinkable possibility of funeral planning along with missed work, and the expenses related to staying at the hospital providing round the clock support for Bri.

I have made the impossible decision to reach out to family and friends on the behalf of Kevin, as he is in a state of grief that is leaving him incapable of doing so himself. Any support you are able to provide during this time would be greatly appreciated.
